![]() ![]() It would be a pain to try and track down what server every a specific job ran on for a certain day. ![]() So to me that sounds like a actual restore would have to run on the same server the job was run on. My main concern is when I enabled FIPS it says 'Data that is Encrypted with this Key can be restored by all users of this installation of Backup Exec'. Has anyone used anything like this before? All backup jobs are created and managed from the CASO but the actual job can run on any of the managed BE servers. I need to enabled FIPS encryption but I'm not sure if it needs to only be enabled on the CASO or if it needs to be enabled on every managed BE server. Right now we have 4 managed BE servers with a CASO. Help!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks muchCathyps: I have entered a support tech ticket with the License Support Customer Service but have not heard back from them. ![]() I then go and look and the license is not there.I have also tried to Import Symantec License File (I got the file from the email back from Symantec and I downloaded it from mysym account license portal and it says that the license file is invalid because there is not a valid serial number. Now my backups have stopped working because the license has expired. When I try to 'Add' the license via the Installation and Licensing and then Install Options and Licenses on this Backup Exec Server, I enter the Serial Number click on Add to List then next etc. I have renewed all of my licenses for the Backup Exec 2014. ![]()
